What is Milestone CrossFit
The quick answer is: instructor lead group workouts. But there
is more to Milestone CrossFit than that. Our gym is different! First off, we’re
located in a warehouse. In CrossFit it’s referred to as a ‘box’. You won’t find
any fancy equipment either. We utilize equipment needed to train top notch
athletes or prepare anyone for any physical contingency found in everyday life.
CrossFit focuses on constantly varied, high intensity, functional exercises.
We are Community. The success of CrossFit is the Community
behind it. There’s no working out alone here! If you’re new, expect to be
welcomed by everyone in the class. There is a strong bond among CrossFitters,
worldwide. At every workout, you’ll be encouraged by not only the coaches, but
by everyone in the class. Accountability is another benefit. If you decide to
skip a workout, you’ll hear from your coach and your class
. CrossFit is very
difficult to explain therefore we always invite anyone interested in CrossFit to
come out and watch. At first glance it might be a little intimidating and even a
little crazy looking, but you’ll quickly see there’s something special here. But
Milestone CrossFit is not just about working out. We have monthly social events;
Get-together’s for our members and their families. We are also proud of our
commitment to the community. We give 5% of our class sales to local charities.
We encourage participation in community events, especially charitable ones like
the Walk MS, Relay for Life or Fight Gone Bad. For our free events, we always
accept for non-perishable donations the Hutto Community Food Pantry.
You’ll notice in our logo, the T in Milestone is a cross. We have been blessed with good health and a strong faith. We use these principles to guide our business.
Our passion for fitness is the reason we opened our gym. Our goal is to promote healthy lifestyles through exercise and proper nutrition.
The workouts are designed for the elite athlete but are scalable for everyone. Every workout is different; you won’t know what the workout is until you get to the gym. Are you a runner, triathlete, swimmer, cyclist or want to become a better athlete, you’ll be amazed at how this cross-training can help you. The workouts will push you but when you’re finished you’ll be proud of what you accomplished.
CrossFit is not a fad. It’s been around for 15 years and is getting stronger. If you have any doubts, just search ‘CrossFit’ on Google. Better yet, search blogs or Twitter posts. There are hundreds of posts daily. Hit a Personal Record (PR), post it on Twitter and you’ll get congratulated worldwide!
